GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jonathan Gonzalez Gonzalez-Gonzalez, 39, was charged with felony escape after allegedly removing his GPS tracker and failing to return to the Alachua County Work Release Center at the end of the work day.

Gonzalez-Gonzalez reportedly signed out at 8:30 a.m. to go to work and was supposed to return no later than 5:30 p.m.

At about 5:38 p.m., the Work Release Center reportedly received a call from the company that monitors the GPS ankle monitors and told them that the monitor assigned to Gonzalez-Gonzalez had been removed. The monitor was located at 39th Avenue and Waldo Road.

Gonzalez-Gonzalez was originally convicted of grand theft larceny for cashing a forged check for over $3,000 and violation of his probation. He had completed 290 days of his 300-day sentence. He is being held on $100,000 bail.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

If Gonzalez Gonzalez-Gonzalez would have been on a road crew in chain, chain, chain, he probably wouldn’t have escaped.

He looks like a decent guy. He must have been sick and tired of being monitored. I feel sorry for him.

Bald-headed + goatee often equals mentally unstable nut, in my life experience. Too bad speedy Gonzalez couldn’t have waited 10 more days. Maybe he wants to stay in the slammer.

Poor unfortunate guy, doesn’t want to be monitored huh? Maybe they can get him a bed at Raiford State Prison soon. Or better yet, serve your time then: QUIT STEALING!

Russ: I don’t feel sorry for this criminal….you some kind of a snowflake? Go back to your safeplace and cry for this POS…looks like a decent guy, ha!

Russ, really? ——Is the on-line dating scene that bad that you gotta pick out your future boyfriend from the mugshots?

Tongue in cheek I hope. If not maybe he can stop by your place for some wheels and cash. Yours.

So with only 10 days left of a 300 days sentence, he takes off. Article a bit thin says he is being held on $100k bond but never says he was re-caught; rather, they found ankle monitor with him not in it. He likely has no ID as an illegal alien will be in and out of jails between thefts and robberies we can all pay for over the next 35 years of his corrupt life. Need to send him to Mr Poe’s house for compassionate counseling or he can move in with Lying Hyphen Hayes (Canadian Spaniard?) and his mother. Both are so pro illegal alien, they can reap what they preach.

The guy needs to remove two of the Gonzales’s in his name like how he removed his ankle bracelet…I hate to say it…what a F’n retard.

He’s still on the run according to a WSKY radio news story.

I spoke with the Work Release Center yesterday. He turned himself in late Tuesday and remains in custody.

I don’t feel sorry for this guy come on think about it had a 300 days sentence yet 290 days in 10 more days to go and he would’ve been a freeman What did he do have a brain fart he knew what he did was wrong for every action there is consequences and now we have to pay for the action he just did and I’m sure the consequences will be more than 300 days.
